EMUMAIL Teams with MessageBay to Offer Integrated Voice and Video Webmail Products

Santa Clara, CA, and Brookline, MA, April 29th, 2002 (Internet Wire) - MessageBay and EMUMAIL announced today the availability of EMUMAIL's flagship Webmail products fully integrated with MessageBay's web-based multimedia messaging software. The new features allow EMUMAIL users to record and send voice and video messages to individuals or large emailing lists without attachments. The voice and video recording software is embedded seamlessly into the EMUMAIL webpage interface. The multimedia messages are stored on the EMUMAIL customer site and sent as links or embedded and streamed within html emails. The solution is fully compatible with the Windows Media Player and recipients need no additional software for viewing.

"EMUMAIL's suite of email products is a natural fit for MessageBay's voice and video client/server software technology," says MessageBay CEO Jon Louis. "Both EMUMAIL and MessageBay have been waiting for the ideal time to launch an enterprise email solution with expanded multimedia functionality. We felt the market was ready for this product based upon the increased proliferation and usage of PC mics and webcams over the past two years."

"Enhancing our product line with MessageBay's new features allows EMUMAIL to offer the latest in digital messaging software, while continuing to focus on what we do best, small business and enterprise email solutions," says EMUMAIL's Director of Sales Ron MacDonald. "We also plan to offer the new features to our hosted customers later this year."
